Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 10 October 2026

This policy applies to every person who uses Docavra: a firm's staff, its clients in the portal and anyone given access. It forms part of the Terms of Service.

Use it lawfully

Use the service only for lawful legal practice and in keeping with the professional conduct rules that bind lawyers in Ghana or wherever the firm practises.

Do not

  • Use the service to commit, hide or launder the proceeds of a crime, or to get round the anti-money laundering reporting duties that bind the firm.
  • Try to reach records you have not been given, share your sign-in, or use another person's.
  • Interfere with, test or get round the service's security, information walls, audit trail or client account safeguards, except in testing we have agreed in writing.
  • Upload malware, or content that is unlawful or that infringes another's rights.
  • Send unsolicited bulk messages through the service's email or SMS.
  • Copy, resell, reverse engineer or build a competing product from the service, or load it with automated traffic beyond normal use.

What happens on a breach

We may suspend the account or the workspace involved, as the Terms of Service describe, and report to the authorities where the law requires. We tell the firm what was found and what it needs to do.

Reporting misuse

Report suspected misuse to [email protected].
