Beneficial ownership
Declare the natural persons who own or control a company, see what reaches them through holding companies, confirm them each year and draw the group above the company.
The Companies Act and the Registrar's beneficial ownership regulations ask each company to keep a register of the natural persons who own or control it. The Owners tab keeps it.
Declare an owner
Add an owner names the person, the nature of their interest (shares, voting rights, control or another), their direct share, when they became an owner and how the interest is held. The register refuses owners who would come to more than the whole. Each change raises the beneficial ownership filing.
Direct, indirect and total
The Ownership section adds what reaches each person through companies that are themselves on the register: each route is the percentages along it multiplied, and the routes added. How it is held shows each route. An owner below the firm's reporting threshold (five per cent unless the firm sets another) reads as below the threshold, never hidden.

Confirm each year
Record a confirmation keeps the day an owner confirmed their particulars still stand; Record that they ceased ends their interest with a reason. The Group structure draws the companies above this one, each link with its percentage and each company opening its record.
