Holidays, court vacations and firm closures
The one calendar that says which days nobody works, which every deadline count and the diary read.
What it holds
- Holidays: the public holidays, for the current and the next year, including those declared at short notice. A holiday that falls on a weekend is observed on another day.
- Court vacations, each saying which courts it binds.
- Firm closures, such as the days between Christmas and the new year. A closure can name the offices it applies to, such as one branch's refit; left without offices, it closes the whole firm. An office's closure counts for that office's people (their leave and time targets) and its matters' deadlines only; the other offices stay open.
A deadline counted in business days skips these, and a count against the days the courts sit skips the vacations that bind that court.

Add a day
- Open Settings, then Calendar settings, and the Holidays, Court vacations or Firm closures tab.
- Choose Add and give its name and dates and, for a vacation, the courts it binds, or for a closure the offices it shuts.
A day the firm added can be changed, deactivated or deleted from its row's menu; the holidays the system shipped read Shipped.
