Undertakings
Record each undertaking a lawyer of the firm gives on a matter, keep it in sight until it is discharged or released, and read the firm's register of them.
An undertaking binds the lawyer who gives it.
Record one on its matter
On the matter's Conveyancing, Undertakings tab, choose Record undertaking: what was promised, by which lawyer on the matter, to whom and by when, then Record.
Keep it, or have it released
The giver and the responsible partner are told as it falls due, and every day it is overdue. From its row's menu, Discharge records the promise kept, and how; Record the release records that its beneficiary let it go, and why. A matter cannot close while an undertaking on it is open.
The firm's register
Matters, Undertakings is the firm's register of every undertaking on the matters you may open, narrowed by Standing, by who it was Given by and by when it is Due, and exported as a file after you confirm.
